Step back in time for a life changing barbecue experience, unlike any other in Northwest Arkansas, at Wright’s BBQ in Johnson.

Wright’s began with a food truck, going from farmers markets to community events around Northwest Arkansas. Since 2017, they’ve been located in a small white house (circa 1917) in downtown Johnson.

Wright’s uses a the method of “open flame, 100% wood fire, on a pit”. They source pecan wood from downed Arkansas trees, and their fires never stop burning from the start of the week to the end.

The menu begins with brisket, unlike any other you can get in NWA, along with pulled pork, chicken, burnt ends, ribs, and sausage. It includes speciality sandwiches, such as The Pumba (brisket, pulled pork, and sausage) piled high on a potato roll, the Woo Pig (pulled pork, sausage, and cole slaw), and the CBR (smoked chicken, smoked uncured bacon, and house made ranch dressing). You can complement these meats with delicious mac & cheese, loaded baked potato salad, or other sides, and finish your meal with a homemade pie or cookie from the bakehouse.

With a flavor and experience unique to the region, and a reputation of excellence, Wright’s BBQ has achieved their goal of becoming true destination barbecue for Northwest Arkansas.
